Broadgate Barbershop sits on the parade of shops on High Road in Beeston, under a black board with the name signwritten across it in cream capitals and the telephone number underneath. It has looked like that for a long time.
Who you will be sat in front of
Martin runs it, and the reviews that name anybody name him. Beyond that this page is not going to invent a staff list for you, because the person who could tell you has not been asked yet. What can be said is that customers keep putting the length of time on record themselves.
Been a regular here for over 20 yrs...been to many barbers all over world n none beats Martin n his team at Broadgate Barbers on Beeston - Nottm. Keep up the good work guys...I'm popping in this afternoon for me Winter coat trimming...
What kind of barbershop it is
A traditional one, and the reviews use that word without being prompted. There is no booking system, no membership and nothing to download. You come in when it suits you and you take your turn, which is how barbershops worked before they started asking for your email address.
It is also part of the street rather than a chain dropped onto it. When Beeston Marina ran a charity auction in 2025, the shop put a cutting voucher into it.
Why there is a website now
Until this one there was not one. Everything the shop has ever had has come from people walking past the window and from other people telling them to. All this site does is put the address, the hours and the number somewhere your phone can find them at ten to five on a Friday.
